Foreign nationals seeking to immigrate permanently to the United States in order to work may pursue permanent status through employment-based immigrant visas. Each employment-based ("EB") category has different educational and experiential requirements and limitations.  We guide both the employee and the employer through the process for EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 petitions as well as the PERM (Labor Certification) process.  We represent employees and employers to ensure compliance with all immigration regulations.

Professionals with university degrees, researchers, investors, entertainers, artists, and individuals with extraordinary abilities can enter the United States in order to pursue employment opportunities by applying for an employment based nonimmigrant visa.   We prepare all the required documentation on behalf of the employee and employer so that you can secure your visa and begin your career in the United States.

U.S. citizens and some permanent residents can sponsor close relatives through family-based visa petitions.  Family-based visas can be complex, especially where they involve consular processing, prior violations of immigration status, or criminal convictions.  We prepare K-1 (fiancé) and K-3 petitions, as well as Immediate Relative petitions for spouses, minor children, and parents of U.S. citizens.  We also prepare petitions for other family members including adult or married children, and siblings.

We partner with experienced immigration practitioners around the world to manage and oversee global migration services.  Through our network, we address the outbound migration needs for our clients relocating from the United States.   Ms. Schwartz Ehrens is a member of the  American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Global Migration Section.
